Welcome to the Omaha Retail Meat Dealers Association web site.

Founded over 120 years ago in Omaha Nebraska, the Retail Meat Dealers Association was originally part of a larger national organization. Originally chartered by packing house workers, the association grew into a club for meat retailers and grocers and became a social fraternal organization, with several ladies auxiliary chapters. Over the many years the organization changed and several chapters flourished, while others disappeared. The Omaha Retail Meat Dealers has changed too, becoming a completely social club with diverse membership. No longer is it a requirement that you be a grocer or meat packer, but the club continues to draw many from the retail business and has 3rd and 4th generations of families that are members. Today the Omaha Retail Meat Dealers is a philanthropic organization that donates money and gifts throughout the year to the less fortunate and needy in the Omaha area.
